7th European Ground System Architecture Workshop (ESAW)
21 and 22 May 2019 | European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) | Darmstadt, Germany
In continuing this highly successful series of workshops, the European Space Operations Centre will host the 7th European Ground System Architecture Workshop on 21 and 22 May 2019 under the auspices of ESA’s Operations Directorate.
ESAW provides an international forum for systems architects to constructively exchange ideas and anticipate future technological trends on operations data system architecture, for example on mission control, mission planning, data analytics, archiving and distribution, flight dynamics, ground station back-end, and spacecraft AIV tool.
ESA invite presentations covering all aspects of data systems related to space operations with a focus on collaboration and common solutions for traditional space missions, but also for Space Safety, Integrated Applications, constellations, CubeSats, HAPS, robotics, exploration/Lunar Orbiter Platform – Gateway, etc. Special interest is put in the impact of advanced software technologies enabling new approaches, such as virtualisation, cloud computing, containerisation, microservices, software defined networks, big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
There will be contributions from experts of European and international space agencies, institutional and commercial operators, and key IT companies.
